which one has better grain size

Below films are available in city I live

Ilford Pan 100 ( smooth ... but I need one stop faster shutter )
Tri-X 400 ( grainy even at EI 200 )
What I learned over the past few months is to "own" the fact that I shoot with film. I used 100ASA film when the sun was out, 400ASA for interiors, but then I realized if you shoot film, grain is not only part of the equation, it defines film photography! So I switched and I am exclusively shooting on Ilford HP5 400 pushed to 800 so people can see the grain and realize that this is what B&W film photography is all about.
