Update: 21/35/90
To update this thread, I will be leaving for Scotland and the Great Glen Way in about 3 weeks. I will be traveling with M9 and 21/35/90. The 21 is a Color Skopar, the 35 is a new Zeiss C Biogon (leaving the 35f1.2 at home) and the 90 is a Tele Elmarit M. All the lenses are nice and small. And I shot with the 21 a lot in Laos a few months ago and did not encounter any fringing or odd colors in the corners.
We have decided to have a luggage service transport our packs while hiking in Scotland and probably on the Camino de Santiago as well.
Now, I am trying to decide if a second body (either M2 or X100) or even a MacBook is worth taking. My thoughts are to leave the computer behind and travel only with the M9. If it malfunctions, I can pick up a point and shoot in Europe. My daughter will be carrying a Canon S90 that she stole from me a few years ago.
