Thanks again, to all for the help / critiques. Looks like I misread the rules, so I have until midnight tonight (not noon) to submit. So I will have time to chew off ALL of my fingernails, thinking about this.
I sent the photos to friends that I trust and most everyone says to go for the Leather Man. My main concern with this, is is it interesting enough for a contest. While the second photo, is much more my style. I trip out looking at it. After I shot it, I said, "Man! You are wearing the exact same colors as the wall!" Even the seams on his vest are the same shape as the tiles. His bags match etc… I felt lucky to catch that.
rwintle: I didn't even think about barrel distortion until you said that. The man is actually standing against a round wall, not in a tunnel….but I see what you mean.
Both these fellows were very nice. The leather clad guy was puzzled. "Why Me? What made you single me out?"
Anyway, I'm rambling here. I think I have been staring at these images too long. 😛
It is hard to argue with the poll results….
