which picture do you think is better top or bottom?

bottom.... but....

Need to work on the Contrast and Saturation.... even if was a flat gloomy day...
make it pop a bit more. IMO....

But, develop how you like... that is more important

I don't really like overly saturated pics and it seems most popular photography is moving away from that direction.

Thanks for the replies I decided to not use either pic in my portfolio. Prints of both are still avaibale for sale though. 😛
 
Definitely the bottom image.

In the top image, the building silhouette at the left is a distraction, and the colors in the sky blow the top image away.
 
Prefer the top one too. It is straighter amongst other things. The bottom one could be rotated counter clockwise some degrees, but I am too obsessional about orientation.
 
For me, top, but with a slight rotation to make the dark shadows from the closer buildings align with the frame edge.* I'd possibly consider cropping the right edge, too.

* I have a terrible habit of tilting every horizontal photo about 1 degree to the right, so I spot this in everyone else's photos too.
