Not really answering your question, as I only know one of them but...

The hadley small will take 2 bodies 3 lenses, whether it will take 2 lenses mounted would depend on the lenses, YMMV.

I have one in black/black, but my only other choice would be khaki as I don't like the black/brown trim, or green versions
 
Haven't handled any of these bags Magus, but as to color I'd say whatever matches your usual color scheme would blend in best. If in doubt, black on black?

Isn't the L2/Alice the same as the Leica bag? Leica bag is cheaper at B&H, but doesn't expressly state it includes a shoulder strap.:confused:

That said, I'm using the Domke F2 or 803 in Tan- but I have no capacity for being unobtrusive as I am what I am, besides I avoid photographing people- like the M VF cause I can see 'em coming.

The Billingham for Leica might be to small for 2 bodies and 3 lenses. I would take the small Hadley.

Colour? Black on black.

Maybe I should try myself. Two Bodies with attached crons (35 and 50) work well. Maybe an Macro-Elmar can be hidden, too.

I made this decision little while back and ended up with the Leica Billingham Combo in black. It's a great bag, but better served with only one body and three lenses. You can sneak in two bodies if one of the mounted lenses is collapsible or short.

Hadley Pro is good Magus you can add the Avea 3 and 5 pockets on the sides.
These and the Domke 803's are fine for the M camera's and lenses but if you then to need to carry 20+ rolls of film
space can become limited....
 
well magus the side pockets are detachable and sold as extras so you don't have to have them but where will you put your 6 rolls of film....? :D

Glad to know I'm not the only one having one of those weeks!

I just ordered the Domke f3x-b, but it was between that and the Hadley small. For better or worse, it came down to $ for me.
 
That's why I got the 803- but I just don't really end up liking it as much as the regular Domke bags- My F2 and the 'really bigger little bit bigger big one' (whatever the number) are tops, but the satchel is just not settling in for me.
 
Hi Magus - I have not tried the other bags, but I've been using an L2 for about a month and really like it. Very much right-sized for a body (or two), a couple of lenses and several rolls, easy to get open, and like you said, the strap is attached to the body of the bag. I feel I need to get the shoulder pad.

I like the L2 much better than the old sloppy Tamrac I have been using for 30 years. I think I even prefer it to my beloved Timbuk2 except when I need to cart my laptop as well as a camera.

I have the Leica one (small) and it will fit:

Body plus std/short lens
Two lenses on either side
additional lens in centre recess underneath the nose down body with lens attached.

So, thats one body and 4 lenses. You can then fit a spare body inside the front zip compartment quite easily tho it is not as well protected, but IMO fine. so, at a push: 2 bodies and 4 lenses (mine are 28, 35, 50zm + 90 elmarit M). Tight but fine!

I am developing a carriage system based more upon pouches and pockets so that kit vanishes with no bag in view, however. I far prefer this as both bands are also free. Not so easy in hot weather though of course!
