Which to do first

I have just received a GIII 17 in poor condition...wobbly lens, goo for seals etc. I am waiting for a Yashica 35 Electro GSN in most likely the same condition. I have never worked on cameras, but was an electronics technician for over 30 years including broadcast TV. MY eyes are shot right now, I need to buy a visor and tools. I have gone to the site recommended here most often, Two questions:

1. Which camera should I do first?


2. What minimum tools are needed to do a good job, without juryrigging and ruining the cameras?

Get a decent spanner with assorted points and jeweler's screwdrivers
