I am going to either get an ANR Glass inserts for my V700 35mm holder,
Or getting an Epson made 35mm holder that has the ANR Glass built-in, and the 3 film strips are loaded from the back with 3 seperate hinged parts.
What most use I guess. But I'll get the glass for the 35mm 4 strip holder

Has anyone used these (the Epson made for 3 film strips) Loads from the back... see the hinges on the right side?

Are both just as good, or is one better than the other.

I think the Epson one would probably be easier to use, since it was purpose built for use with glass.
I don't have an Epson scanner; I use a Nikon LS-8000ED. Nikon's standard carriers are glassless, but they sold two glass carriers. Because these were very expensive new, and have become insanely expensive used, a lot of people are buying glass and fitting it into the standard carriers. The setup is jury-rigged and looks like a pain compared to just using the glass carriers Nikon made.
I understand why adapting the glassless carriers to use glass is so popular with my Nikon scanner, given the extreme cost of the glass carriers, which are long-discontinued and rare. If Epson is making one now, it probably isn't that expensive and would likely be much easier to use.

I thought of getting the 35mm version from Epson but ended up getting a Nikon V ed and a Pakon when they where cheap.
For medium format with the V700 I got the better scanning adapter as the focus height is adjustable.
Ebay had a pair of glass strips for 120 for an extra few bucks.
Would really like to add a Nikon machine for Medium format but the Better scanning holder and glass has made enough of an improvement for my B+W "pre-view" scans from the V700.
I noticed the set of holders for the v700/750 is about $140 on ebay.
All glass with exception of the 35mm slide holder which is not.
Seems like a deal when you look at what other glass holders cost.

The Epson 35mm holder OEM, is $20, (I have one) "Better" ANR Glass inserts are $48 + $3.5 Ship
The Pictured Epson 35mm w/ ANR glass is $60. so a $10 savings, but 3 strips, not 4.
I saw the adjustable ones.... but, my V700 is good on the focus with medium format scans of my dad's stuff.
