There was a Yashica Lynx 14e for $25 on ebay 2 minutes ago and now its gone. Drat, who beat me to it!! It was advertised as a YAshica IC.
Come on confess........I was looking at the seller's feedback and went back to snag it and puff....gone! Oh well, enjoy whomever you are.

....b1bmsgt, was it you?

I'm clean :)

I'm clean :)

I were :) looking at it.
I asked seller if there's fungus on lens close to 1:1.4 numbers on black ring around glass. No response.

I'm not sure about fungus, sometimes that web pics make a big jokes - beaters can look like a new and overexposed crap appears to be very nice gear.
Probably it's worth it even with organics included, especially for those who have spare front glass (in case it will be really needed).

I recently got a lemon (left first neg. feedback, btw) and didn't want to purchase from seller who doesn't answers.

I know, it was listed for $35 the first time around and the seller wouldnt answer my questions either so I was a lbit leery, but when I saw it relisted for $25 i was tempted to take a chance, even if I had to have it fixed. Oh well, probably better off. Now I can spend that $25 on something important like a nice bottle of JAck Daniels

I wish!

If I had known about it I would have been after it, but I haven't checked ebay in a while.

:bang: RATS!! :bang:

By the way, I've been looking for one as well -you know, just 'looking', never know when you'll stumble upon a bargain ;)

99% of the lynx's that I find here on European marketsites or the European Ebay are lynx 1000 or 5000. Only sparsly do I encouter an 1.4... Seems like I'm in the wrong continent. Anybody now more about how this happens to be so?

The seller had 2 for sale last week. It was sugested to me to search Yashica IC and that is how I came upon it.

its me

its me

Sorry guys, It was me. I got it. Searched Yashica IC and pulled the trigger. Don't tell my wife. The counter on the ebay page said 11 people had checked the page, guess I got lucky (depending on if its in decent shape). If its messed up beyond what I am capable of repairing when I get it, then I will re-list it here for the same price.

I got a Lynx 14 last week that I am digging, and wanted to try the IC version.

a..ha!!

Well, at least it was one of us......I hope it works out ok for you.
Im just a bit jealous. Let us know how you make out with it when it arrives.

IC is different. The meter is seen in the viewfinder. The battery is on the back of the top plate. The regular Lynx 14 has a meter on the top plate, near the shoe. The battery door is on the bottom of the camera. Same lens though !

I just posted a Lynx-14 on eBay..used it a couple of years but decided to get rid of it in part because of the weight..

Are they in demand??

Before knowing what RF cameras are, I found such a camera locally for $20 or so, and without using it, I sold it for a 100% profit.:D

You really should keep it & send it to b1bmsgt & let him fix & clean it up for you. But if you must let it go I guess Pes should get first bids at it.

I just mistyped "Yashica" and ended up with "yahsica" (happens a lot to me) and for the US residents this could be interesting: ebay objectn° 110334113297

The seller doesn't 'know' what type it is, but to me it looks like a lynx 5000 something. Since the name is misspelled and lynx isn't mentioned as well, I don't think this one will appear on a lot of radars, so could stay cheap (compared to european standards :bang: )
