Who has a Blog?

I have one was going to update daily but that was never going to happen. But it has pictures words and space around the pictures and words :)
 
I'm up to 1089 posts! I have to catch up with writing copy to go with the latest few pix posted an I still have a bunch to post and tomorrow I'm shooting a political rally which will give me more photos and things to write about. The prpblem isn't in finding things to put on the blog but rather one of winnowing the wheat from the chaff. There's just too much to write about, although most of the photos are chosen for other than artistic reasons. I really liked the photo that I posted yesterday, May first. I just love the almost-on-the-floor viewpoint and the angular compositional features of the scene.

I started in January 2009 a blog (in english language) mostly, but not only, about photography.

So I call it AL-MOST-LY PHOTOGRAPHY.

I don't have much photos around the web, I prefer to post them in my blog, so that I can control their presentation.
I like to show my photographs (relatively) large and with some acceptable detail, so that the viewer can share some of the richness and tonal differences of the various formats I shoot: from 35mm, up untill 8x10 inches.

Most of the work is analogic, both color and black and white.
Beeing an old-school darkroom guy, I still have some difficulties with scanning, but I think that I am already getting some acceptable results...

I also wright some texts about my experiences as a photographer, or just as a human beeing.

I might post as well new work, as I use my archive. I've posted so far images dating from 1977 until present.

I also do some articles about different types of equipment I use. Not very much the technical type of stuff, though. More from a user point of view, and the fun I experience by doing it.

But words for what?

I would sincerelly aprecciate if you would enjoy to take a look.

I have a blog that I post a few pcitures to and write on from time to time. It's not meant to be purely photography, as much as things that strike me from day to day. So far is has been mostly photographic though..

Cyphers a collection of visual reference, photographs and anecdotal "finds" - which help to inform and define the direction of my work. Dating from the late 80's to the present day.

The Cyphers blog will be an ongoing project in itself posting images that don't always "fit" on my domain or archive sites - usually posted in batches of three every few days.


The third site (to follow) Locus will host links and honorary mentions of websites I find interesting, friends I want to be noticed and perhaps notes on the equipment I use.

All sites will shortly be customized by Neil Chenery my web designer.
