I found that I like film and the experience of shooting it with old and new cameras and lenses. I had used digital for color until recently used C41 film in MF and liked the results.
So on a recent trip to India I took only film, no digital, and shot more MF and 135 color than B&W and liked the results. It cost me a bundle for processing at a pro lab and I got plenty of dust spots and water marks for the expense.
I have some C41 press kits, after seeing results from others on the forum, and will do my own developing in the future. I know I will handle them better with fewer dust spots and water marks.

At one of my last visits to film process only at a color lab, while my film was inside the machine and prompt to get out at any moment, the manager of the shop decided that was the best time to open some old computers and clean them with an electrical dust absorving home machine....
I got a sort of face freezing reaction like the one I got once my little daughter was to fall down from my window to the street in pursue of a cat. The other people working at the shop, not to speak about the manager couldn't understand what was going on with me, unable to speak and moving my arms saying something is very wrong. My heart perhaps, they thought.
After a few moments, when I started to talk again I explained that dust should not be aroused while processing film, but my version was not accepted and the folks there thought I must be somewhat crazy.

Most of my colour is shot in digital, most of my B&W shot on film, except when it's not. If If I want something in B&W that works best shot with an SLR it'll be done on digital these days - maybe I should join the F6 party? - and if I want a colour ultra-wide it'll be shot on film (CV 15 doesn't work too well on a D200!).

In 35mm, yes. But in medium format, I love using colour film.

on the rare occasions that I shoot color, I mostly use my DSLR... unless I am traveling and dedicate my Stylus Epic to color. I mostly shoot b&w and that is film... more than 95%.

I am. After three digital slr Nikons, I got a FE2 because I got tired of hauling Leicas and additional lenses for film.

I suspect that, if you have a good 15mp DSLR, Lightroom 2.2 and a good printer (eg Epson 3800) you'll find it hard to justify 35mm film for anything.
I admit that my 1:200 Rodinal / Neopan 400 @ 1000, Nikon-scanned, has a look I love and have not yet rivaled digitally, and that 35mm Astia, Nikon scanned beats 15mp DSLR at 12X18, unless I need more speed than the Astia offers. On the other hand, there's no 35mm film that comes close to 15mp IQ @ 1600 or 3200, color or B&W.
