Hello from Maine,
I have a Canon Rebel XT which has no focus confirmation light in the viewfinder - so that must mean the focus confirmation computer is dead because the motor to focus the lenses still works, the lenses try to focus but can not.
I sent it to Canon to get a "holy sh1t is that in yen?" estimate, and surely they did deliver, 212 clams they wanted to fix this camera which is not worth much more than 250 clams anyway ...
Is there anyone more affordable around? Less crooked?
Thanks!
Craig
