Right now there are two chrome Fs in the car with four pre-Ai lenses. Both Fs are plain prism, one with the early rectangular finder window and the other with the round window. A decent meter, two loaded cameras, and four extra rolls of HP5+ gives me everything I need.

I have 3F's. An F2a chrome, FE Black, and a FM3a Black. Love using them all.

I'm planning on using my F a lot more actually. I decided I want to get the 35 f/1.4 and 50 f/1.2 AIS lenses and use it for my low light work since it will be exponentially cheaper than any super speed lenses for my Leicas.
I might just get another F body, we'll see, or maybe go back to the F2 (though I feel the F is quieter overall).
BTW what's the best Focusing screen for using fast glass at night? I was thinking the H1 screen?

Another one turned up, a real beater but still works like a champ.

Just shot a roll through my black plain prism F this afternoon. Such a pleasure to shoot.

I just finished photographing a baby party using my first Nikon F, which is a black"Apollo" model. Whenever I have a job where the photos have to come out I can always count on my Nikon F. I have used this camera in high school, college-Brooks Institute and for a couple assignments at work. Using it is second nature and it always works.

An F is on my wishlist, but I am not in a hurry. They are brilliant pieces of kit, but...
I own 2 Sover-cla'ed plain prism F2's and shoot them almost daily. Actually, an F2 glued to a 28mm f/2.8 Ai-S is in my bag anytime, sharing the love with a Leica IIf (also have 2) and a post-war Summitar.
The IIf and the F2 (I realise writing that that I must have something for "f's" and "2's"...) will never ever go. My two favourite cameras.

The 50 f/1.2 is quite tricky to focus wide open. Either an H type, a G type (even clearer but no DOF preview) or an E type (surprisingly comfortable). There are 4 H an G sub-types, be sure to get the good one relatively to the lens you plan to use. I believe that the G3 was made for the 50 f/1.2.

I shoot a black, plain prism F with 35mm daily.
