Who sold more Leicas?

When HCB, and a lot of others were making pictures, every article would tout the Leica as their tool of choice. As a result, many other photographers purchased Leicas for their own work., just like camera advertising today. So, as a curiosity, who do you think sold more Leicas, Henri Cartier-Bresson, W. Eugene Smith, or another photographer?

I think Leica sold more leicas.

from the 1930s up to the early 1950s there were not too many super high quality 35mm miniature camera systems to choose from.
in europe this was the case even in the late 1950s.
