Who uses yellow filters and what for ?

Many thanks to all who spent their precious time to answer my dumb question, I learned some new things about yellow filters and I will start a new sereis soon ( like i did with the orange series) to improve my craft at this point. A lot of polite, helpful and knowledgable folks here !
