Just got a Rolleiflex T and the shutter worked for a while and then
quit. It's probably just a simple CLA as the camera is otherwise
in great shape. Checking around revealed that a few Rollei
repair places won't work on them. Any body recommend
on this. I like the T and it was my first serious camera 60
years ago. Thanks!

Harry Fleenor, if he is still working. I had him do my T CLAd and it has been perfect for 10 years. He is expensive but worth it.

Harry no longer services the T. I used Karl Elhers recommended by Harry.

I’m having a far less than satisfactory experience with his work in less than one year.
I am hoping he resolves it because I paid him nearly $600 for an overhaul of my 2.8D and he is now claiming he wants another $375 to repeat three parts of that first overhaul.
Not happy at all.

I would suggest calling Bill Moretz at ProCamera. He has CLA’d several Rolleis for me, including one Rolleiflex T a year or two ago. He is fast and the cost is reasonable.

I get my 2.8D back un-resolved from Fleenor today, will send to Bill Moretz to get the job done right.
In 31 years of having cameras maintained and repaired as part of my career as a photographer, I have had little issue until now.
In having shipped it to him twice, paying the eye watering tab for an overhaul and this recent not exactly free estimate, I have parted with a grand total of $735 to have a camera that he claims just beyond six months needs "Services required; shutter overhaul & self timer repair (1 second slow & 1/250 + 1/500 slow), transport overhaul (sluggish)".
What a total waste of time and money, lesson learned.

Just got my Rolleiflex T back from Bill Moretz at ProCamera. He
did a great job fixing the shutter and stuck to the est. of $125
with quick turnaround.
