I think the reason I use film is that I prefer to. I get something real in my hand and can still easily choose whether I should continue working with it in a tradtional darkroom or in a computer. I have not yet decided which output medium I prefer, so it is good to be able to do both.
I also prefer to use RF cameras, and that leaves few digital camera alternatives. Somehow I think the most appealing complement camera is a small pocket digicam, preferably some that works very well in low light, but I have not really found any yet to my liking, but maybe some day.
From a cost perspective, I save money by using film, but it is not a dramatic difference, so that is not a big issue.
