Why so hard to find Bessa R3M's ?

Not long ago I sold a mint Rollei 35RF (in original box with all its papers) for about half the price you paid - and there seems hardly a market for these camera's
but your cam might have other specs...

It is not the same camera. Similar, but the R2/R3/R4 series are much improved.

R3x and R4x are truly unique cameras so there's no upgrade path to something else like there is from an R2x.

I am sure he does (And I know he does, now that I've checked out the site more).

He does need to refurbish his web-shop though, specially put in the possibility for people to review both the site and the goods, so that any unsuspecting people dropping in, will consider placing an order.

Right now, the ordering page (and page in general), looks like something from the mid 90's, upgrade and streamline it, and I am sure more business will come as a result. ^^

You seem more interested in the web site than the products and the people vending them.

Not at all.

I am interested in security when I am about to pull the trigger and put up to $700 on the line, that's all.

I see nothing in your questions or critique that would lead to improved "security" of any kind.

When I order from Camera Quest, I just send Stephen an email as to what I want and he sends me the PayPal amount for me to submit. Kind of old fashion, but who cares, it gets the job done. Never a hiccup in 10 years of buying from him.

I ended up getting a R4M on eBay that was pretty much new with original box and half case for it for a surprising $450 with shipping. I ended up getting my 21mm color Skopar at Camera Quest when he was running a deal, quick shipping too. I'd go there again for sure. Only reason I got the camera on eBay because that was the cheapest I cme across and it was pretty much new. Took it to Japan had a great time!

Awesome, you did well, my friend.

Did Steve not post within the last couple of days a remark that all Bessa film camera
production is to be ceased ?
