wi-fi on the xe2?

can someone walk me through how it works?
i'm not looking for every detail but just a general sense of it.
eventually, i will read the manual...promise!

Download the app onto iPad.
Go to settings/wifi on the iPad
View photo you wish to transfer from camera, press the wifi button on top of camera
Select wifi signal from camera on your iPad wifi
Open app on iPad and Click connect
Press the okay/enter button on camera

For the iPhone, there are 4 Fuji apps available to download. I use the "FUJIFILM Photo Receiver" and it works as FrankS described. I had trouble with at least one of the others getting a connection.

With my XA1 that was the app that did not work well.
The XA1 and XE2 sound different in their wifi mode.

ok...loaded photo receiver onto my iphone and ipad mini...tried the mini with the xe2 and after a few attempts got it to connect.
so it works but not always on the first attempt.
will try with the phone tonight...

the transfer is actually pretty quick...it's the connecting that takes a couple of tries...
