hey guys,
i'm new here, great forum, very glad i found it...
i was wondering if anyone has attempted to put the wide aux lens on either of these cameras.
what i would really like to know is:
is there a considerable degradation in sharpness and resolution if enlarged to 17x22?
since these auxiliary lenses were made for a 45mm FL, will these even work?
also, any ideas on what the resulting focal length would be with the 35mm and 40mm, respectively?
i don't care about the finder, as i see very well with my hands, and i don't care about accurate focusing since i am almost always pre-focused.
any suggestions on this combination would be very appreciated.
thanks,
mark

GX with it's 40mm lens has dedicated aux lens set, you may check filter threads if it will fit GL and CC. Petri has made 52mm threaded set for 45mm lens, too.

Personally I do not bother with this as gain is less than fuss - for me, in any case.

I have a standard Yashcia tele-wide kit which seems to fit fine on the Yashica GL. It will not fit on the CC, CCN, or GX cameras though.

I'm not sure how well the tele-wide will work with the GL's 40mm lens, as the kit I have came with a 45mm GTN camera.
