Jamie, did you shoot this yourself? I don't have the "Al 15", but I do have the Skopar 25mm, so maybe I really can do this!

Wow ... great thread dedicated to a guy I really admired.

Not long after Al started posting on RFF on a regular basis a couple of years ago, totally inspired by the great man, I clambered onto the roof
of my darkroom shed in the trees and shot some hand held self portraits with my lllf and 15mm Heliar.

Al commented on this pic and said he thought it was good but I needed to be more careful with the position of my arm!

This place just isn't the same without him ... but our grief will pass and we'll celebrate the fact that we were lucky enough to have him here in
the first place ... with threads like this.
