Hi all,
Sorry to bother you with another camera bag thread but after a long time of thought (more than 1 year that i think of it) i would like to have just a quick clarification about the Hadley Pro.
Here is below my daily set of cameras that i bring with me all the time:
- a rolleiflex
- a bessa r3 with a 40mm nokton (soon, will add an elmar)
- a rollei 35
- a bunch of 35mm and 120 films
- nexus 7
- paper notebook
- asus notebook 10"
- wallet, passeport & some papers...
- small accessories
Indeed, i am afraid that the rolleiflex is too large but i would like to have your opinion on it.

I absolutely love the Hadley Pro....After using the Hadley Pro for a year now, I routinely fit (quite nicely) the following:
Leica M3 w/ Summarit
Leica IIIF w/ 50mm Lens
Leica R4 w/ Summicron
Leica X1 with Charger
Plus a good amount of film, cleaning supplies, odds and ends, moleskine notebooks, an Ipad will fit but the mini will be better, checkbook/passports, papers in outside zip pocket, and more.
Will my Ciro-flex fit? Yes, in the center pocket but that would only allow the M3 and one other body such as the X1 or the IIIF.
Someone else may have a better way of doing it but there is only so much room in the Hadley Pro and it does accomodate room for four 35mm cameras. You can get the attachable pouches for small cameras on the outside, though.

Yes it will fit but Id suggest taking just the Nexus or just the Netbook as it will be tight with both. The Rollei will be fine. Ive had a Pentax 67 with an M6 in mine.
The Rolleiflex, 35 and R3 will fit in the main compartment, Passport and wallet in the Zip at the back. Film in front pockets with small accessories and paper and tablet in the gap between the insert and bag at the rear.

My opinion is that's too much to stuff int a Hadley Pro and actually work out of the bag. I like to have much more space around my gear.
Look at the Tenba Mini Messenger. It's not that much larger or heavier than the Hadley Pro but can fit a whole bunch more gear, comfortably.

I've had both, sold the Hadley and kept the Mini Messenger. Much more usable space for a middling large kit. Available in several colors and usually under $100.

I have to agree with Godfrey here. I have both the Hadley pro and the Hadley small. If I would fit all the stuff you list I would lose my temper within minutes when out and shooting and having to go in and out of the bag several times.
Just for transporting though should be fine.
I can easily fit, and most often do, the following in my Hadley pro:
Leica m6 with c biogon 35mm
5d mark ii with 40mm canon pankake
Canon 100mm L macro lens
I divide that into three parts of the main compartment, the macro lens standing up, then the 5d standing up, then the m6 on its side standing up.
This leaves me with a tight fit along the width of the bag, but reasonably workable.
It also leaves space on top of the 5d, I've had a holga there on its back, but this starts to become less comfortable. I think I managed to put my Ikoflex there on top of the 5d once as well.
You can fit quite a bit if film in the front pockets, but I rarely do as they are filled with other crap. The thing is, I don't want to carry the bag packed like that anyway, it's too heavy.
I usually just put some film in the small space that is left on top of the other stuff. But most of the time I don't use a bag at all if I can avoid it.
Just for transporting though should be fine.

Yes, all of that gear in one bag means it is for transport primarily. In August, I met with the SE RFF folks in Asheville, NC. After carrying the full bag with four cameras + everything else for 6 hours and a 10 hour round-trip drive....I could hardly stand the pain to get out of bed for a week.
That is a lot of weight.
But, since then, I have a separate waist pack for the Ciro-Flex and am now about to get a Domke rugged wear bag for my usual two-camera shooting. Can't think of a better bag than the Hadley pro for a lot of things, but walking around all day shooting with all that gear is not one of them, IMO. It is fantastic with just one or two cameras though.
Better to use it for transport/storage and have a smaller bag(s) for configuring the walkabouts and photo shoots.:angel:

When I had the Hadley Pro, I'd carry a one body-two or three lens compact SLR or RF kit in it (the Panasonic L1 is only a little thicker than an M9, otherwise the same size, and if you choose your lenses carefully, you get a lot out of three lenses with it). That's a light enough kit and fits with space in a Hadley Pro.
I sold the Hadley as I needed space for a pro DSLR at that time. The Tenba Mini Messenger was perfect ... not that much bigger to carry, vastly more space inside. And just as light. I could carry it with the Olympus E-5 and four lenses comfortably all day, and work out of it easily.
When I went back to smaller equipment, I chose the Black Label Bag Oskar's One Day Bag Mark II, which is a slightly more developed clone of the A&A ACAM 7100 or 7000 model. That holds a two body, three to four lens Leica M kit easily and with plenty of space for easy shooting. That's pretty much my standard photo shoot bag nowadays, whenever I go traveling. It's trimmer than the Hadley Pro and a little lighter, but holds more due to a squarer shape. It can also hold an iPad alongside the padded camera insert.
The Tenba Mini Messenger continues to do service, currently as a storage bag for my Nikon SLR kit. It's on the floor next to me ... three bodies, five lenses, accessories, etc. It's what I grab when I need to carry both medium format and Leica gear too, as it has enough additional depth for a Rolleiflex or Hasselblad to fit without having to pilot it in or out in a surgical fashion. (And the Mini is the smallest of the range ... If you need space, go for the medium or large versions. They are capacious yet still light and easily wearable.)
My day to day bag right now is a very light Lowepro Teraclime 100 into which I've dropped the camera insert from the A&A ACAM7100. Just the right size for a camera and my other day to day junk, very very light, etc. It crushes to form fit the insert and whatever stuff I've jammed into it, wears very nicely, and doesn't look fancy or expensive either. A fine bag.
I've got way more bags than I think I ought to have, but I keep using all of them. That really means I have way more equipment than I ought to have ... sigh.

On my domke f2, I carry, 2 m, 4 lens with pouch, table top tripod, sf20, canon f1N with 28, 50, 85, and r9 with 50. Side pocket will have mju ii and iii, light meter, cleaning supply, and 20 roll of films. I am not happy, want to find a backpack.

I never put more than 2 body into my hadley pro. It's not a bag to carry to heavy items.

Well, got a few minutes with nothing to do so I am back on the forum on my home computer. Guess I will have to spring for something more mobile soon.
If I do, the iPad whatever will fit with no problem.
Just an update:
Having spent the last 45 days in the hospital and rehab facility with my wife (24/7, not visiting), I lived out of my Hadley Pro bag. I carried the M3, IIIF, and the X1 with 12 rolls of film, cleaning supplies, tools, check book, daily journal, file folder for the doctors and important papers, journal for paying the bills, light meter, pens, flash light, keys, wallet and various personal items.
With no safe place to store any of that, I lived out of the bag and always had it with me even while sleeping in the chairs. Total weight=10.4 lbs. Much less than I had with the R4+lens+power drive last August in Asheville (14 lbs).
I got used to not only the weight, but the overall flexibility of using the bag all day long and sleeping with it to boot!
No one ever asked about the bag or the contents and no one ever found out that I was a photographer. Probably because I did not use the cameras at all, not for such a serious personal crisis. The cameras only came along because the bag held every valuable possession I own which wasn't much but they came with me.
Funny thing is...I never got tired of carrying it and my back/shoulders never hurt. I reckon I am broken in now as an official man bag carrier.
Will it work for you? Everybody's different. It was a nice thing having my bag with me though.
Oh, and thanks to Kuvvy, the Billingham strap pad took a bit of getting used to but is now very nice to use!

So i am the proud owner of an hadley pro now, just received it on monday. I have seen a lot of other products, and, i can say that i am quite happy to have wait and paid for one hadley. Quality seems very very good.
So far, i am fitting inside:
