It depends. If you have really good eyesight and can focus an RF in low light and want the RF way of seeing the world, then the RD-1 or M8 are your only digital options. If you want a camera that can use your M mount glass or a whole range of other lenses with adapters and is easy to focus, even in low light (yes, I know there are some that say they can't because the EVF is too noisy in extremely low light forgetting they couldn't even see an image much less the focusing patch in similar conditions) but also lets you use zoom lenses that are optically very good to excellent with more to come. Of course all of this flexibility wouldn't be worth much if the image quality were not up to par but the G1 image quality rivals that of cameras costing far more than the G1. In the GetDPI forum a comparison between the G1 and M8 using the same Leica lens is almost indistinguishable. If it weren't for a few minor issues like difference in DOF and image size along with a slight difference in color saturation most people would not be able to tell which came from which camera. With a 10 to 1 or higher price difference you would think you would get a lot more for your $ but for some prestige outweighs their pocketbooks.
