As I was setting up my business to hopefully open next week, it made me think about the implications distancing might have on my photography. Currently it is just my family, mostly my son. Sticking a 28mm near him is no problem. When setting up the 6 ft distance markers, I thought “this is too far for a 28, maybe even too far for a 35”. I’m usually running with a 28 Cron and a 50 of some sort, but I’m thinking the 50 might actually be more useful in today’s viral climate. Also, I’m wondering if getting too close to someone with a camera nowadays would get you punched in the face much easier than it would 4 months ago. I may switch to carrying a 50/90 combo myself if it’s people I’m trying to shoot. Curious what everyone else is thinking as things start opening again.
