Will the "upgraded" M8 have a new shutter speed dial?

Inquiring minds want to know...The stock M8 has a shutter speed dial that goes up to 8000. Since the "upgraded" camera with the downgraded shutter speed only hits 1/4000th of a second will the upgrade include a new speed dial that is engraved only to 4000? Leica hasn't said anything about this but it would seem to be a must. Else you will have a kludge on your hands after the upgrade.

No one has written anything about this. Anyone know?

I'm sure it will.

I hope they come to their senses, though, and instead of doing the snip-snip, they'd come up with a damped cocking mechanism, and a damped, improved, more-efficiently-isolated-from-the-body-frame-so-it-doesn't-transmit-vibrations cocking motor.

Or line the inside of the body with porous hard-graphite or other nonmetallic, porous and vibration-opaque lining.
