Will this cable release work on my leica cl?

I'm looking to buy a cable release for my leica cl for self portraits and longer exposures. I was wondering if this cable release will work on my cl?

I don't think so... the only reference I could find says, "Minolta Remote Cord L 5m cable release with an electronic release on the camera end to use with XD, XG, and later cameras."

Ain't no such thing on my CL.

Not a surprise Rick is right, only works with the X series of cameras.

Most certainly not. The Minolta CLE has an electronic shutter release, and this five meter cable (!) for sure is an electric cable with a button-switch at its end. The Leica CL has what seems a standard mechanical release.
