Will Zeiss ever bring out a 135mm lens?

I think you've hit on the key point. I like the 135mm length, but in rangefinders, there doesn't appear to be a huge demand for lenses longer than 75mm-90mm.

Well as I see it, if you can shoot with a 90mm without problems, shooting with the 135 should not be an issue. BTW I like teles.

The 135mm focal length is not popular these days, but "in the day" everyone pretty much had a good one in LTM. The Leitz 135/2.8 with goggles is good and cheap. How do you compete with that, how many $2,000 135's could be sold?

On the 180/2.8: The Nikkor-P 180/2.8 is extremely sharp, some rumored that it was an ED lens before Nikon marked them as "Extra Dollars".
