Some minutes ago I read that Willy Ronis died at the age of 99.
He had such a great eye!

This brought a tear to my eye. A very great photographer. Did anyone else see his exhibition (and him!) at Arles this year?

As well as being a brilliant photojournalist, he also shot my favourite nude of all time: Provencale Nude

Oh how sad - what a wonderful man and a brilliant, warm photographer. Humanity shone through his pictures, I have several of his books and will treasure them.
