I have had this Yashica Mat EM for a long time. Took it out when I found it in storage and it seems to work still. Meter still works--tested against my CV Meter. But the winder crank I'm concerned about. I don't remember where this thing would end when you wind it once to advance film.
I put a roll in and first wind ended at about 8-7 o'clock before the shutter cocking wind. Then another wind and it ended at 9 o'clock. This goes on until the roll is done, but never exactly in the same spot once the film is advanced. The lever will go back to the counter window, but after the shutter is fired the wind will be ~ 3/4 revolution before it stops. Does this make sense?
Is this the way this is supposed to work?
Here is the order with the test film. All o'clock. 8/7, 9, 9+, 9+, 9+, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9-, 9
Thanks for any insight into how this thing works.
