Wireless Remote for Contax G1?

I have both a G1 and a G2 and nowhere is there a mention of a wireless remote. Contax/Yashica made wireless remotes for some of their other cameras and even had adaptors so that one remote could fit several cameras, but none would fit a G camera.

BTW, any TLA flash will work, even the after-market ones.

So the wireless remotes at KEH are for the SLRs (or at least a few of them).
I guess a 100cm wired will have to do...

It is for candid photo's where the camera is on the edge of a outdoor cafe' table, for street style candid of passers by.

Oh WOW, That will work... But I wander if It has a hand remote for Single Frame firing at my call, not the interval timers..
BUT, it is definitely cool.

Be carefus about that new intervalometer. I checked it out and it looks like, on the surface, that it will have problems. Here is why: The socket for the release is electrically activated on the G-series cameras and mechanical cable releases just do not work reliably, if at all. The listed intervalometer appears to be mechanical and so, would suffer the same problems. If you find one let me know. Right now, I am waiting for a Contax-G electrical one to show up in the mail.

Never heard of a wireless for the G series. I have a few Contax wired remotes of various cord lengths.

The Link above has a plunger for the shutter button, so no damage can happen.

But, your are right about the remote socket for the G1, only ones made for it.. I was just hoping a wireless version was made by Contax...

There's infrared remote that one part hooks up into the hot shoe, the other part you hold in your hand. it uses 9V battery and, I think, couple AA. sometimes it pops up on ebay and it usually sells for $30-40. As a matter of fact I have one, but never use it, so if you're interested, let me know.
