Hi!
Yesterday I received a Leica M4-2 and a new CV 35mm Color-Skopar Pancake 2, both are truly awesome. The build quality of the lens looks amazing for the price, but in a matter of hours the front assembly has gone from totally rigid, to wobbling a little from left to right, to now wobbling in 3 dimensions, if I shake the camera I can feel the front of the lens wobble about.
I guess it’s a trip back to Mr. Gandy, I’d love to get out and shoot my new camera but I’m paranoid that I will see the front part of the lens fall off and roll down a drain, has anyone else had this problem? Is their a simple fix?

I hope it won't happen to mine ! I just got the 35mm PII yesterday, and been shooting a lot, love the lens' good contrast, and of course it's size and weight which was a very important feature for me.

I solved the problem, a locking ring on the back of the lens had worked its way loose, disappointing after owning the lens for so little time but an easy fix, I carefully tightened it with a screwdriver. Works great now, i love it!
