woke up with an itch!

yeah, woke up this morning with the thought of selling 3 of my 4 fuji lenses and then getting the fuji 56…living with a simple set-up of 2 bodies and the 23/56 combo…it would cover most of what i usually shoot and i know i would not miss the 2 zooms…
i also woke up with a headache...

23, 56... sounds like a great kit to me. :D

treat the infected area with soap/water and disinfectant
then follow up with iodine.

the itch will go away.

I just picked up an X-E1 used for $275 locally. It was meant to be a 2nd body to my X-T1, but then as I was finalizing the meeting plan with the seller via email, I found out my T1 had light leak so now it's going back to Amazon. I'm seriously considering "downgrading" to X-E2, or even just getting another X-E1 rather than getting replacement T1. X-E body, IMHO, has the best balance of size, usability (for someone likes physical control) and weight after handling E, T, and Pro bodies over time.

56mm, which I just received, is fantastic. Super sharp even wide open. That lens really made me decide to get a second body to basically have that lens glued to it for location shootings.

I don't know if I can really narrow it down to just two lenses, but I think I'll be very happy with 56, 35 and 23. 56mm always on one body, and another one choosing wither 23 or 35 depending on the assignment. If you are a 35mm equivalent guy to begin with, I can totally see just sticking with 23 and 56mm. That's very likely what I'll take for my regular work shoots. Since I'm a 50mm fov guy personally, I'll probably keep 35mm for my personal shoots.

i'm not much into landscapes really…but i think a 16 is pretty well suited for some street shooting…easier than being sucessful with a 14 on the street...
I know where you're coming from, going too wide can be restrictive in the street.
But it can also work, it's a matter of getting in a different mindframe... or view/mind/frame LOL if you know what I mean?

Anyway I absolutely love my 14 for street, have a look

still have to process the images.

i am complete…well, my kit is pretty done anyway…;)
2 bodies & 23/56 as a main kit with the 16-50 as a fill in till fuji makes a 16 prime...
