It's true -- I am the "one on the left" and that is my dad's old M3.

It was great to meet up with Rich and geek out about old cameras.

I am far from rangefinder-savvy, but at least now I know I'm not holding it wrong!

I loaned my girlfriend my Canonet G-III a few weeks ago and haven't seen it since!

(She doesn't like coffee, though 😕 )

Be careful what camera you lend to your womenfolk. I loaned my digi SLR to my wife for one outing, and I haven't been able to get it out of her hands since! She's welcome to it, but I won't lend her the P or the M4!

My wife has the 300D... I have a 350D now 😀.

Forgot to mention that Melanie in addition to bringing a like-new M3 (w/serial number 1,1+ million) she also brought along the best looking Rolleiflex 2.8F I've ever seen...
