Wooden hand grip?

Has anyone seen this wooden hand grip on ebay? It doesn't really go well with the Leica body, IMO, but they do look wonderfully made. Not sure if this is a one off item or something they sell often, but I haven't seen them and thought they were interesting.

Opinions?

For me the first (and decisive) question would be, WTF is HONG-MU ????
Is that stuff really rare and extraordinary enuff to disfigure the M Leica in a adaequte way ?

Having recently switched from a Canon 1N to a Leica M7 I was keen to try the Leica hand grip. With the Canon the handgrip is integral to the body and makes the camera very easy to handle and control. After using the Leica handgrip for an evening, I returned it. The grip did not provide enough of an area to really take the strain off my fingers. INMO there was very little difference in the handling of the M7 with or without the grip. I really like the idea of a grip to improve handling. I think Gman has a brilliant idea with interchangable grip inserts. That way you could buy a grip that is big enough to actually fit your hand and make a real difference on the camera.

Since Pentax marketed their wooden grip for the 654 the are "luxury" so I guess this one adds to the Leica as well. It looks quite good, actually, if you smoke a pipe when taking photographs.

I don't remember the Pentax 654, or a wood grip.

Some historian help me here; I have the camera clearly in my mind's eye, but I can't google it. An overgrown SLR, takes 120 film for 6x4.5, a wooden grip that looks like something that was taken from the lid of an antique sewing machine....

Pentax also offered an accessory wooden handle for their 6 x 7 SLR too...

I concur with Greyhoundman that this one is well thought out and well crafted, though it does look a little strange on the Leica... I'm also not too crazy about the gilded metal bits at the bottom, brush or matte chrome would be better IMHO.

That one's another left-side grip, and extended away from the body. I don't care for it, but on the 67II it offers the advantage of a hot shoe.

I much prefer Ino Yoon's custom hand-made wood grips that fit on the right-side strap lugs. He sells them on eBay (seller name "inoyoon", but he seems not to be offering anything at the moment. That's a bubble level on the top of the grip. Here's a snap:
