Planet earth was truly a different world then ...

I remember it well. The build-up was strange as no one knew what to expect. Then the reports came of horrendous traffic jams and utter confusion. The initial reports, those at the time, were of confusion, little food, fewer toilets, rain and mud. Over the years the story has left this behind. I am not sure if it is nostalgia, amnesia or just knowing only the movie but it is now different than what it was. All things considered I guess I would have enjoyed it. At the time we were relieved we were not caught up in what looked like a disaster. Time heals much. And perspective accounts for much. The movie is wonderful.
