😀What a strange, short road it's been...
Some time ago, I purchased a Konica Auto S2, and it arrived with the aperture blades seized up. I bought a set of spanners. I practiced on a Minolta 7s with a similar problem, and botched it big time. REALLY complex in the lens barrel...
Sold the spanner set. The folks who sold me the spanners, for some unknown reason, sent me a second set...no bill, no invoice, etc. After waiting for a month for them to contact me so I could arrange for them to have it returned, I rooted around the 'net some more, and discovered that it was fairly easy to access the aperture blades.
Opened the back, unscrewed the retainer, took out the rear element, cleaned up the aperture blades and the rear element, and put it all back together. Seems to work just fine. I'll soup the roll of film tomorrow, and report the results! Hope this doesn't lead to delusions of competence!
Regards!
