Works on human beings

Some of my human studies, well more like my visions.
First is a series of four pictures. This series I feel is relatively strong in tranquil setting, where other works coordinate same thoughts. These are the light.

Those four pictures I feel are working pretty well together with my landscapes and near abstract photos.

These two works on the other hand are my favorite works on subject. They do pretty well present on my thoughts on humans. They don't work in same setting then previous ones though and are a project of their own.

They will be paired with nature studies, giving them more depth.

Of course over the years I've been experiencing a lot on these subject matters and thoughts. But those two are most likely my "main" lines of studying human form as of now and part of projects which I want to get done at the moment.

I think I could post one more series later on, one in which I study our spiritual connection with our surroundings.

I like the photo with the hair and the, what? Twine? Roots? Both? Reminds me of JerryUelsmann.

I also like the candle lit photos (nicely done), and the double exposure in the abandoned house, along with the two below it. How did you acheive the effect covering the face?

The rest don't seem to interest me. Maybe I just need to look at them more, or they just aren't my cup of tea.

The effect covering her face is done in post-process, my thought behind is was to make it look like scratched negative. Giving it the feel of destroyed evidence, making subject unknown.

"Double exposures" are actually single exposures with long shutter time and flashlights. But effect is pretty much the same 🙂 They were made in abandoned mental hospital and they are part of a series in which I study our dreams, fears and memories coming up to surface.
