Tape recorders only pull more tape when in fast-forward or rewind modes. During play and record the tape is pulled at a constant speed between a metal capstan and rubber pinch-roller (in all but the very crudest dictating machines anyway). The capstan and pinch-roller are equivalent to the film sprocket in a 35mm camera. The take-up spool of a tape recorder has a slipping clutch, exactly analagous to to that in a 35mm camera.

You both bring me back to my first post.: Provided the fork is adjusted to the accurate tension it should then leave the push film action to the srprockets, while the fork is a kind of secondary companion, still pushing but not beyond the force of the sprockets.

i think that bigger spacing comes from too tight wind fork and probably not enough plate which presses film so film can slip over sprocket teeths.

This confirms my experience. The easiest way to botch up frame spacing on Kiev is to bend/remove the roller on the back. It becomes uneven, since initially the sharp angle to takeup spool takes care of holding film to the sprocket cogs, but as diameter builds up it starts to slip.
