I made this online darkroom timer and just wanted to put it out there in the "real world", maybe someone else might find it useful.

In anticipation of the "how is this different from the massive dev chart phone app" question, I just did this for fun over a weekend because I didn't feel like paying 10$ to install more stuff on my phone :)

Thank you!
I like how it gives sound for inversion time, very usefull for me.
I'll try it on next film.
Any plans for C-41 ? :)

I could make one, but I'd need to know how the C41 process works first

I forgot to say, once the timer starts you can bookmark that page to save the development recipe

For C-41 I use:
Warming, Soaking.
Color Developing.
Bleach Fix.
Rinse.
Stabilizer.

Some users of Jobo, Telenal C-41 recommends 15 seconds intervals instead of 30. Which makes sense for fresh solution. Mine is two years old now and times are close to b/w developing, I'm using 30 seconds intervals.

In the Jobo's document they have it for "C-41 press kit", which I have from B&H and use in manual tank.

Recommended Process for Tetenal C-41 Press Kit:
1. Pre-Warm 5:00
2. Developer 3:15
3. Bleach-Fix 6:00
4. Rinse 3:00 (6x 0:30)
5. Stabilizer 1:00 (Off processor at room temperature.)
6. Dry As needed.

Very cool. Thanks! If you make it a buyable app, be sure to share that info here. I think you'd have a bunch of supporters.

While not a phone app per se it is very phone/tablet friendly. I'm not very comfortable asking for money but there's a tip jar (donate) button on the site

Thanks guys ! :)

I like the old-fashioned sounding bell and that you can save different routines. But how do you get it to pause between steps, e.g. while you are emptying and refilling the tank?

you can hit the space bar (on a keyboard) to pause at any time, but it doesn't pause on its own.

I'm at washing stage.
Developing was cool with ready-invert. Fix doesn't have it.
It will be nice if it stopes at every stage to give time to get ready for next stage by hitting resume. I wouldn't mind skip as well.
Also if you leave page, tab it stops, it shouldn't.

Running from apple tablet.

Ok so two requests for the timers to pause automatically between steps. Would you guys prefer they paused for a few seconds then resumed on their own ? or paused until you click resume ?

This is new. If you open another tab it stops counting ?

I tried it and liked it.

The pause between steps sounds like a good idea- I like the automatic resume option.

On my ipad air, it does not stop counting when I switch tabs. In fact, the tab for your timer shows the timer counting down when I'm in another tab.

hey guys, sorry to revive this old thread, but I'm experimenting with the auto-pause/auto-resume option between steps.
I'm thinking ten seconds between steps is good enough for auto-resume, what do you think ? Any opinions or ideas ?
