I was planning on getting one of these for my next safari, but I'm holding out until I can get a green lens too. That silver one would spook the stripes off a bengal tiger.

If I had that money to spend (and I don't) I'd much rather spend it on glass, film and top notch FB papers

If whoever inherits the camera has any luck, the teeth will produce an aesthetically-pleasing brassing.
I'm not going to buy one, but it's an attractive set. Always thought the olive-colored Bessas were pretty as well.

I actually think it looks pretty neat. Definitely not 8k neat, and I'd rather have one in silver or black. But I can dig it.

I does look like my olive R2 with a chrome lens did; and I liked it. But then the R2 was a bit cheaper ....
