Well I was planning on getting a body like the ME Super soon anyway and this got me $25 worth of accessories for $1 more than the body without the discount. Besides I've been controlling my gas for months.

I have to hand it to KEH's service this time around. I ordered late yesterday with 2nd Day Air shipping but it was borderline cutoff. They didn't get it out (probably swamped with orders) and estimated delivery was Monday. The rep upgraded me to overnight for free. 😀

KEH10 normally works for 10% off if you're a new customer (or have a second email address). I just got another code in my inbox for 10% off, ACKEHMAY16. Both seem to be working!

Hmmm. I've just had an email from them that claims to offer 'up to 40% on ALL film gear' Except it doesn't offer anything off on any of the film products I've tried, using the code.
Edit: On re-reading, I see that they say that you need to spend $400 to save an extra 10%. What they really mean is that you need to spend a minimum of $400, to receive 10%. Quite where the 40% kicks in is anyone's guess. Confusing at best.

The 40% off is like an everyday discount, there's no 40% off for this promotion. Looks like you need to spend $1200 to get 20% off film gear and $1500 to get 15% off digital stuff.

My thoughts exactly. I hate it when I see an ad that says up to x% off only to find that there isn't actually a discount code but that's just they're average prices compared to retail... right guys, thanks for the deal.

Yes the promotion is intentionally deceiving - they claim "Up to 40% off retail prices everyday" when the discount is much more modest than that.
