Three of a perfect pair
Woot! Been away a few days and now... a TLR forum. Great stuff!
A Rolleicord Vb was my first "real" camera. Had to sell it due to being out of work and money some eight years ago, but have since then longed for another Vb. A couple of months ago, I finally found another one... so here goes, a photo of my three friends.
(And yeah, I like KC and Gentle Giant, too.)
EDIT: L to R in the photo: R'cord Vb, IV and Ia.

Thanks Steven for this TLR forum!! great idea!´
I´m enjoying a Rolleiflex 3.5E for a month now (thanks to Alkis for making this possible!!) and I´m blown away by the results...it even kinda throws me off using the few 50 and 25 asa 135 films I got for summer because the rollei can record more detail on 400asa Trix than my Summicron on 25ASA Maco Ort /(I´ve tried it! the Cron-C touches the Rollei in resolution but the film is 4Stops slower!!!) kind of makes one think about the choise and purpose of equipment ;-)
A friend of mine who was saving for a 500C/M has after seeing the slides finaly bought a Rolleiflex (3.5E xenotar) too! He also is amazed by the results.
Here´s our Babies in a recent "show off" shot... (the Rollei up front/M6/standard are mine, the FE and rollei in the back is my Friends machines)
My favorite shots with so far with the Rollei (wonderful Street machine)

in fact we all are secret TLR shooters and use the rangefinder blah blah just to cover the true nature of ours.

Reading this thread has given me the push needed try out my as yet untested Minolta Autocord today.
I have no idea what speed film is inside so I'll be crossing my fingers and seeing what happens at dinnertime.

Naruto, love that B&W shot! Beautful light. It would go well in the Pan F pool on flickr: http://www.flickr.com/groups/72078851@N00/

The thing I like almost the best is the way the contacts look! I thinkc sometimes when I see my Rollei TLR contact sheets, "Ok, I'm done!"

"Forgiveness"? Nope, out of the question.
Of course, if you post a picture taken with your Autocord we might reconsider....

Just saw this thread. This is great, I just received my Autocord on Saturday! It's loaded and ready to go, if only the snow had come in January and February instead of now...

RXMD, I have an old Yashica 12, but it has a broken focusing hellix. Do you know where I could get it repaired? I love that red skin on yours. Maybe if I can get mine working I'd do something like that!

Hi. I just looked at it. As the case strap is across the top nameplate we can't see what it says, and the photos of the front are out-of-focus to the point that I can't read whether it's an f:3.5 or an f:2.8.
Nevertheless, if it's the former you got a very good deal, and if it's the latter you got a screamin' deal.
What've you got to trade? I have Paypal and I can no doubt get you a Rollei cladding kit and send it to you.
PM me.

I have three such marvels;
Rolleiflex 2.8D with Planar 80/2.8
Rolleiflex Automat (III or IV) with 75mm/3.5 Tessar
Tele Rolleiflex with Sonnar 135mm/4
Thanks for the new forum. It will revive Rollei activities.
