Wow! Or even two wows...

Rare, but not quite that desirable. That is about twelve times the highest price paid for one so far (and that was a auction price for a certified museum grade one, not a ebay beater).

If you look at the seller's feedback, #1 it is 100% and does seem to accept offers. This IIG is however way over the top on its asking price.

P.S. - I do have a bit of envy towards who ever was able to afford the LTM Summilux that he recently sold.

Hi,

It was re-listed. I was going to flag it up but it disappeared and then re-appeared again and here we are...

PS Pity about the lens cap, I'd be interested otherwise but caps can be expensive.

Yes, at (I think) A$2104 the buyer seems to have done particularly well, considering that this particular Summilux was included and shown on this camera when the "BIN" price was well over A$500,000 and then, after the lens's sale, the re-listed body plus a Summicron 50 was priced at A$189,000.

What a bargain: an A$300,000 lens for just A$2104!🙄

Hi,

The link given in zauhar's post suggests it was one of a small batch. The serial number in the photo on ebay would fit in with the serial number quoted in the link.

So rare and interesting to me.
