WTB Canon 50mm f2.8 LTM lens parts

Hi,

A friend of mine has a very nice Canon 50mm f2.8 LTM lens (rare, I believe?) in very nice condition, except that it has no aperture blades!!

Apparently, he bought a P body and the lens came along as a body cap. Now, if anyone knows where I can get a set of blades from, I'm going to offer to take the lens off his hands for the price of a few beers.

Can anyone help?

Leave it with for a week or so. I recently got a lens very cheap because one of the elements was "cloudy". I was hoping to rescue it with a little help from Arax but it might have gone too far. If so all you will need to do is put the glass from yours in this.

i have a permanent f2 summicron...you could have a permanent f2.8 canon.

we could start a trend maybe...😉
