Want to Trade ads are, like joe said, very cool. My concern is that I have responded to a particular ad at least 3 times with no answer.

Glad you are here. I don't have an Elmar-C. Anything else you would like to trade for that 50 M-Hexanon?

Monochromejrnl, by 50 Elmar-c, do you mean a 50/2.8 Elmar collapsible? If so, and if you cannot work out a deal my fellow Texan, I have an Elmar that might interest you. PM me if you'd like.

yes i'm looking for a collapsible 50/2.8 Elmar Mount in excellent optical and mechanical conditional (cosmetics are secondary)...

for trade will be my 50/2 Hexanon M which i love dearly but has been replaced by an older 50 Summilux .... looking for a smaller, more compact and lighter 50 to compliment it .... my example of the Hexanon-M is in excellent mechanical and optical condition, however there is one issue: the aftermarket hood i have for it is mounted and i can't seem to unmount it - appears to have jumped a thread... this would be a disadvantage for any one who wanted to mount filters on it because the aftermarket hood is not threaded ... i find the lens to be extremely contrasty without filters but i appreciate this will be an issue for those who want a perfect example...

it is in every other respect in superb condition and focuses accurately on my M3...

if i am unable to work something out with jja i will post a WTT ad in the classifieds section...
