Anybody bought this bundle or from this seller before? Any catch?
It seems to be a good deal since I am not keen on getting the zoom lens.

Is Fuji going to consider this gray market and not honor warranty bought outside of US? Something to think about.

I got one of these, because I too wanted a 35 1.4 as my kit lens. Not from this seller, I think. Everything is properly boxed/included, though I can't say whether you (or I) would have to run any warranty issues through Hong Kong or could use US.
Mine featured a branding phrase on the shelf box (not the inner charcoal boxing) that this was a special Hong Kong kit. And the charger uses HK plug, but my seller included (attached!) a US converter. You might ask about this, as well as the warranty, if you wish to be prudent as possible.
I found mine to be a sensible and quite competitive deal, given that I wanted to stick to primes. And the camera/kit is perfect. Hope this helps.

the seller informed me that any warranty request will be sent to HK at their expense. So it seems that it is not a bad deal. Still on the fence though.

Is the X-E1 always bundled with the 18-55 there in the US? Over here (somewhere in Asia), the EX-1's are bundled with the 35mm as the standard offer, and sometimes merchants would offer a choice, instead of this 35mm, an 18mm could be put in its place.

As far as I know, in the US, X-E1 is only offered as a bundle with the 18-55 zoom lens. X-Pro-1 is offered as a bundle with either 18mm or 35mm prime.

I bought a similar kit, black, and have had it over a month. No problems. The seller threw in the appropriate AC converter, and I couldn't be happier. I also picked up a used 18mm. Waiting on the 14 and the 55-200 zoom. To me, the XE-1 is extremely Leica-like in handling. I only wish the AF was as fast as my Olympus OMD.

Finally got my X-E1+35mm from the ebay seller. It arrived 2 days from Hong Kong!
First, what's a good basic setup? Can't wait to play with the new toy... although it feels a lot less of a toy compared to m4/3 cameras.
