X-E2 How do you update the firmware

I guess first I should ask, how do you determine what firmware is on the camera?

Then how do you install the latest firmware. I can find the DAT file on the Fuji site but can find no instructions on the web site, nor in the manual, nor by googling it. Either it is so simple it escapes me or someone is really devious but I am totally frustrated.

Never mind, the newest update for WIN 10 3.01 (last week) has instructions.
