Sorry if this is a repost, I didn't see anything about this lens prior to posting. Seems like more companies are making X mount manual lenses. Although the optics don't look like there going to give you extra sharp, detailed filled files there is still 12 aperture blades, a solidly built lens*, and a 35mm point of view. With focus peaking that is coming soon, this could be a interesting choice. The softer, less contrasty photos could be interesting for people who are into that look of photos. Check it out.

What do you think? Lens looks great on the XE1.

*From what I've read, I have not personally handled the lens in my hand.

i first thought i had read "Nokton" and thought that CV was making X-mount lenses
that would definitely be a treat!

I hadn't really considered the 23mm noktor until the focus peaking firmware announcement a few weeks ago...now I'm just hanging in there to see how peaking is implemented on the X-series. If it works for me I'm definitely going to snag the 23mm, as 35mm is my preferred focal length.

A few months ago I went on a "google binge" and I got obsessive about finding info/reviews/images from this lens and an X-camera. The few samples I found online looked interesting...the bokeh seems reminiscent of the Nokton 1.4 or other "classic" lenses which exhibit a bit of astigmatism (swirl) and I love the personality/signature of the few images I've seen from the lens. Fuji's glass is great but a little too "perfect" for my taste.
