Hi everyone,
I recently got an amazing deal on a X Pro 1 and I've been wanting to play around with some of the old Russian lenses I have. Does anyone know if the Industar 22 can fully collapse without damaging anything on the X Pro 1?

Thanks in advance

I do not think it can. As I recall it hits the plastic around the shutter cover.

Just tried it. If you are at minimum focusing distance you can collapse the Industar 22 all the way but of course the lens is sticking out further itself. Once you move the focus a bit the barrel touches and hits inside. Additionally, the infinity lock does not work with the L39-FX adapter. There is no room for the lock button to be depressed.

I did a quick search and it seems there is a version of the Industar 10 (or Fed 10) that has an infinity lock that does not need to be depressed. It also seems like it is somewhat shorter than the Industar 22 so it might be able to be fully collapsed on the Fuji. See this thread for more info.

Just based on the pictures I think the Industar 10 is at least 5mm shorter (width of the faceplate). That should be enough to collapse in the Fuji as the difference in length from minimum to infinity focus is about 4mm.
