A local second hand selling X pro +18 & 35 lens at 1150, reasonable?
Yes. Reasonable.

Not really ..some country selling brand new set as low as US$1550 including extra original battery n some freebies. Shop around, you might surprise that the x pro1 price has drop a lot

Sounds fair, but perhaps not a bargain. I got a 100% new 35mm from HK for 350 USD a few weeks ago, and the new 18mms were around the same price. If you were to shop around the right places in Mong Kok you could get a new 35, 18, XP1 set for around 1200, but you might need to buy them separately.

Surprisingly cheap for XP1 and lens, why? I thought it is Fuji's flagship model rather than the light-leak XT1. Will you recommend I get XP1 new at this moment as I would like to enter the Fuji world - I have been only using R-D1 and no other digital (except LX3 compact) before.

The xt1 light leak issue already has a fix and Fuji repair service is has been doing it free for at least a week or two already.
The xp1 is getting pretty old in the tooth.. The price drop is just part of the normal cycle. It is the only csc w/ ovf, evf and LCD capability outside of Leica.
The next gen xp2 is most likely not going to be announced until 2015.. Rumor is that they are either doing it as a ff and/or the new organic sensor. So for now, the xt1 is top dog n terms of other features like better evf, dual mode screen, faster af, and weather sealing.

For whatever reason.. US price drops have always been slow or not as agressive as other parts of the world.. Really does not matter what camera brand we are talking about.
Btw.. Last night the Fuji sale price on certain lens and camera bodies ended. Have not check to c if they went back up since not really in market to pick up anything in Fuji for a bit.

I picked up an XP1 + 18 and 25mm lenses + spare battery, grip and 16Gb Lexar 400x card for £949 a couple of weeks ago. Actually, I traded a DSLR and my Lumix LX7 into the bargain and got it for little more than a straight trade.
I dunno about the XP1 being long in the tooth - nor do I care. It suits my purposes perfectly and that, rather than whether it's been replaced as the top of the Fuji camera "tree" is why I bought it.
My only two criticisms of it are that it's very easy to knock the CSM switch with my left hand and equally easy to knock the focus compensation dial with my right thumb. I'm getting used to these minor irritants and I'm delighted with the image quality - particularly at higher ISOs.

Isn't there a rumour that the X-Pro1S is imminent? I'm hoping that release will drive down the price of the X-Pro1

The rumours are for an X-Pro 2 with FF.

Won't a FF X camera throw a wrench in the works when it comes to the lenses already released? Or are current X-series lenses full frame compatible?

Not really.... most manufacturers have both APSC and FF lines. Fuji will just be expanding its offerings to include a FF line-up. people who own the APSC stuff can either keep using it or sell it.

Didn't bother Sony, the future is FF (at the moment).

Fuji like every other company out there does not have unlimited resources. They can't develop more apsc c stuff w/ sacrificing something to go ff. Granted the apsc lens lineup and roadmap is pretty complete IMHO. There are some lenses missing, like the 16 fov prime or a weather resistant prime. But overall not a bad lens lineup or roadmap.
If they are pushing a ff first, then any work that could have gone into a xp1s is going to put on hold or discontinued.
As Jsrocket's said, nothing prevents them from designing into their new ff camera the ability to use their existing apsc lenses via crop mode like all other manufactures.
The big issue will be the new push for filling out a ff lens lineup..
Another factor to consider.. If they consider the xp1/2 their top of the line.. Once they put out a xp2 ff, would they really do a xp1s? Example Nikon never did a d2 whatever after they released the d3 ff or a d300 whatever after they did the d700..
Fuji is toooo smart to abandon the apsc lineup.. They will keep this line going.. This maybe their bread and butter money making area compared to ff camera line.

Fuji might decide to take on the Sony FF offerings but it will be at a completely different price point to the XPro-1 and the XT-1. If they do, they will need to produce a new lens range but, so what? For those with XPro-1s, the XT might be a temptation. However, a FF version of either isn't something that everyone will either want or need - certainly not at the sort of price the likes of Nikon, Canon and Sony have been pitching at with their various offerings. However, there are folks out there who are either early adopters or maybe even "need" the FF sensor and for whom money won't be an object.
