X-Pro 2 rumor update: 24 mp APS-C sensor

Now that I actually own an X-Pro1, I can really see the appeal. However, if anything, it makes me want it to be full frame even more. Perhaps in a few years.

That being said, unless I haven't discovered it yet, I found the focus peaking in the X-Pro1 inferior to that of the Ricoh GXR. The seller I bought it from mentioned rumours of a new manual focusing option coming in a firmware update? Any details?

The fact that Fuji is applying new features to even 2 year old bodies is refreshing!

We just have different dreams.

I wanted a body I could carry daily with a 2X3 format with reasonably fast lenses. I like using an optical finder to see what's outside the frame. An optical finder has utility besides manual focusing. And the Fujinon prime lenses meet my needs.

Using adapted lens isn't valuable if you don't own any to adapt. I sold all my M/LTM lenses when I abandoned film. If using M/LTM lenses was my highest priority, I would have bought a brand new M9.

While EVFs are unsuitable for some, using an EVF does have advantages. Switching between OVF/EVF with the flick of a finger means you have the advantage of both.

Why wouldn't one brand want to keep up with the others? Isn't that the fundamental principle of capitalism (competition insures improvement)? The XT-1 AF and MF (in EVF mode of course) is significantly better then the X-Pro 1.

Use x e1 for just not long time but really like the pictures produced and the size of the camera. I wish:
a. APSC sensor as it keeps camera and lens small
b. Fast AF
c. OVF shows the focus area like evf
d. No higher MP as I am not professional but only interested in photography
e. Not too heavy nor too light as reasonable weight makes holding camera firmly
f. Fuji adapter for LTM lens with coupling focus and aperture
g. Silver body a must
h. No built in hand grip as it will be more classic
i. Weather proof
j. Low power consumption, I do not want to carry too much battery
k. Reasonable price like current xe1 or 2
